Chocolate cake and a jacket!

Doesn't this look yummy?

This is a Cream de Cacoa cake that I made for the potluck "break the fast" dinner after Yom Kippur on Saturday night. I also made lemon bars (no picture, sorry).

Wednesday I get to make another yummy dessert for a girls night. I'm going to make a chocolate pudding/strawberry cream dessert. Then on Friday, we have ANOTHER potluck for Sukkot!! WOW! So for that...Chocolate Bavarian Cake. Hehe. Good thing we work out.

In other news, I finally decided which size to make on this pattern:
I kept going back and forth because it's a jacket (which I've never really done before) and didn't know if I should make my bust size or give myself some room to wear clothing underneath the jacket...

In the end, I decided to make a size 6 (for a 35" bust). My bust size is actually 34" so I will have 1" of positive ease. I would have gone for 2" of ease, but I think I'm going to wear this jacket more during the whole work-day instead of an outdoors winter jacket. Hopefully I made the right choice!!

I got a beautiful wool/silk fabric from fabric.com that feels like it will be perfect for this jacket!! The lining is a coordinating satin. Yum! :)
