Waterfall Cables Afghan

Just finished this for my super awesome sister in law! I gave her a coupon for her birthday saying she could pick a knit or sewn project of her choice and I would make it for her. Sooo she wanted a knit afghan. I had her pick out the design and the colors and yarn and here's how it came out! I am very excited about it. Maybe I will keep it for myself. :)

Also, thank you to Ruth for taking such beautiful pictures for me!

Pattern: Coming soon
Yarn: Liberty Wool Solid color #7892-approx 10 skeins, Liberty Wool Prints color #7862-approx 10 skeins
Needles: Size 8
Finished Size: Approx 60" x 60"

Sunflower Wrap

Pattern: Sunflower Infinity Wrap from the new Noni Flowers book
Needles: Size 7 for the wrap, size 8 for the flowers
Yarn: King Baby Llama for the wrap (3 skeins), Shepherd's Wool for the flowers (1 skein each color)
Notes: Used ONE strand of Shepherd’s Wool for the flowers. For the center, I added in some fun fur which I trimmed a lot after they were felted.
For the stem, I only knit about 6 rounds of i-cord and I eliminated the green leaves since when you sew them onto the shawl, you wouldn’t see them anyway.

My Ella Coat is Done!!

Yay!
And it's so pink and fun!!!

Pattern: Ella Coat for Women
Needles: Size 7
Size: Smallest
Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool
Notes:
After starting from the bodice and working increases, I added 1” (6 rows) before beginning arm holes.
I did the original ruffles because I thought that with the striping, the picot ruffle was too much.
I did three buttons right beneath the bust. I was tempted to do a zipper, but decided against it. This was for two reasons--one being that the bust was a touch small and two because I had a big pink stripe right above my bust which made my girls look saggy. Haha. Anyways, I love the three buttons which accentuate the curves in all the right places.
I would put how many skeins I used…and I really tried to keep track…but I lost track. Sorry!
